Hi, I’m Chedie—a self-taught artist originally from the Philippines, now calling Calgary, AB, Canada home.
For the longest time, I believed the idea that being an artist meant struggling to make a living. So, I pushed art aside. But no matter how much I tried to ignore it, the love for doodling, coloring, and creating never left me.
Now, I’m finally giving myself permission to explore my art in the age of AI and find my own voice. It may seem like an unusual time to start, but this journey has been waiting for me for a long time. I may not have formal training (yet), but I’m learning, experimenting, and embracing the process.
