There was a time when my heart felt like it had shattered into quiet pieces—no noise, no drama, just a soft undoing.
Days blurred into weeks, and I kept thinking healing meant forgetting. But it didn’t. Healing, I realized, meant remembering… selectively.
Not the pain. But the good before the storm.
The laughter in the hallway. The shared silence that felt full. The unexpected kindness of a rainy afternoon.
Little by little, those moments returned—not to reignite old love, but to remind me that it had once existed, that I had once been open enough to feel that deeply.
And somehow, that was comforting. A reminder that broken things can mend. Not into their original shape, but into something honest and whole in its own right.
