From the Artist:

If you’ve wandered through the other illustration stories on my site, you might notice a common thread—many are rooted in nature.

But this piece, despite its flower-like title and theme, has a very different origin.

The real inspiration was a simple toy: a kaleidoscope I adored as a child. I would spend endless afternoons with it in my hands—gently shaking, turning, peeking through, and marveling at the ever-changing mosaics that bloomed before my eyes. It was mesmerizing to witness how countless shapes and colors could shift into entirely new worlds with just the slightest movement.

In case you haven’t fallen under a kaleidoscope’s spell before: the patterns it creates are infinite. The shifting magic comes from the angles of the mirrors, the tiny objects inside, and the light that dances through them—ensuring that no two visions are ever exactly the same.

That quiet exposure to endless possibility stayed with me. Perhaps that’s why, even now, I find joy in creating seamless patterns—little echoes of that childhood wonder, that small reminder that beauty can be both spontaneous and infinite.

And so, this artwork was born:

A vibrant, symmetrical mandala woven from colorful abstract patterns and shapes. Elements of nature and fantasy intertwine through bright hues and geometric forms, creating a visually captivating and harmonious world to get lost in—just like peering through a beloved kaleidoscope.
