There’s a certain haunting beauty in those films where nature reclaims abandoned cities—where vines weave through cracked concrete and trees burst through the skeletons of old buildings. A future where technology fades and greenery quietly, stubbornly, takes back the earth. It’s eerie… yet somehow captivating.
I once dreamt of our old ancestral home swallowed by such a vision—overgrown with vines, grasses curling through shattered windows, creeping along the forgotten walls. The house was old and worn, the furniture lifeless, the appliances silent. Yet instead of fear, the dream filled me with warmth. Despite the silence and decay, the blending of nature’s wild touch with the familiar bones of the house felt strangely safe, almost sacred.
That dream reminded me of an inevitable truth: the world is always shifting, always evolving. Sometimes in ruin, there is renewal. Sometimes in decay, there is art.
