From the Artist:
Back in high school, one of the literary works that etched itself into my imagination was King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. I might not remember every name now, but Arthur, Lancelot, Galahad, Gareth, and Gawain still echo in my memory—each one wrapped in chivalry, honor, and a hint of mystical legend.
There was something deeply poetic in how the knights were portrayed—valiant souls clad in gleaming armor, riding into battles not just with swords, but with stories stitched into their capes. I was particularly fascinated by how the author described their appearance. Not just their strength or valor, but the intricate details—like how their helmets might have looked, how they gleamed under the sun, how they bore symbols of their individual virtues.
Of course, I’ve never seen a real knight’s helmet up close. But in my mind, some of them were golden—resplendent and radiant, like halos forged from courage and legend.
This artwork is a reflection of that inner vision:
An abstract depiction of a golden headdress, adorned with intricate patterns, feather-like motifs, and bead-inspired details. The piece balances symmetry and flowing curves, evoking both nobility and creativity. It’s not a literal knight’s helmet, but a symbolic crown for the heroic imagination—where glory is not just worn, but felt.
